The action and texture of water treatment agents in power plants

Power plant water treatment chemicals play an important role in the water treatment process of power plants, and their mechanism of action mainly involves the following aspects:

Anti scaling effect: Power plant water often contains a large amount of soluble salts, which can easily form scale under high temperature and pressure conditions, reduce heat transfer efficiency, and even cause equipment failures. Scale inhibitors or dispersants in water treatment agents can react with salt ions in water to prevent their deposition and maintain a dissolved state, thereby effectively preventing the generation of scale.

Corrosion inhibition effect: Metal materials in the water circulation system of power plants are prone to corrosion, leading to equipment damage. The corrosion inhibitors in water treatment agents can react chemically with the metal surface to form a protective film, preventing water from corroding the metal and extending the service life of the equipment.

Sterilization and disinfection effect: The water circulation system of power plants is prone to breeding bacteria, algae and other microorganisms, forming biofilms, blocking pipelines, and affecting the normal operation of the system. Fungicides or disinfectants used in water treatment chemicals can inhibit the growth of microorganisms, eliminate the presence of bacteria, algae, etc., and maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the water circulation system.

PH regulation function: The pH regulator in water treatment chemicals can adjust the acidity and alkalinity of water, control the alkalinity or acidity of water, and meet the requirements of equipment operation. Proper acid-base regulation can improve the solubility of water and reduce the occurrence of scale and scaling.

Cleaning and deoxygenation function: The cleaning agent in the water treatment agent of the power plant can regularly wash and clean the equipment, remove attachments and sediments, and maintain the cleanliness of the equipment. Meanwhile, deoxidizers can remove dissolved oxygen from water and reduce the occurrence of oxygen corrosion.

Overall, the water treatment chemicals used in power plants maintain the normal operation of the water circulation system, improve equipment efficiency and service life, and ensure the safe and stable operation of the power plant through functions such as scale prevention, corrosion inhibition, sterilization and disinfection, pH adjustment, cleaning, and deoxygenation.
