Is water treatment agent a heavy or light cargo

A water treatment agent is a chemical whose physical properties and density depend on the specific chemical composition. Generally speaking, water treatment agents include various types such as organic compounds, inorganic salts, and water-soluble polymers, with densities ranging from 0.8g/mL to 1.5g/mL. Therefore, water treatment agents are available in both heavy and light goods.

For example, inorganic water treatment agents such as copper sulfate and iron chloride have relatively high densities, both above 2.0 g/mL; However, the density of organic water treatment agents such as polyacrylamide is relatively low, around 1.3 g/mL. In addition, the density of oxidizing water treatment agents such as liquid chlorine and chlorine dioxide is also relatively high, usually around 1.3-1.5g/mL.

In summary, water treatment agents are both heavy and light chemicals, and the specific density needs to be determined based on different chemical components. During transportation and storage, appropriate packaging and labeling are required based on the density and chemical properties of the items to ensure safety and stable quality.
